Orlando Theme Parks
Located about an hour south of Daytona, Orlando offers many exciting theme parks, such as Disney World, Universal Studios, Island of Adventures, SeaWorld, and more! Fun for all ages, Orlando offers excitement for all ages, whether you’re walking through The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, relaxing in the lazy river at Blizzard Beach, or traveling around the world at Epcot. Orlando also has a number of specialty restaurants, such as Medieval Times where customers can enjoy an exciting battle of six knights competing for the King’s Champion title. There is always something exciting going on in Orlando.
Take the scenic route on A1A from Daytona Beach northbound to St. Augustine — this ocean-side drive features long stretches of untouched beaches and spectacular views. You’ll drive through Ormond Beach, Flagler Beach, and Palm Coast before reaching St. Augustine, each with it’s own distinct character. St. Augustine is the grand finale of the trip and is the nation’s oldest city. Enjoy a sightseeing trolley tour and grab a bite at one of the gourmet bistros or unique cafes before heading back to Daytona.
Kennedy Space Center
Located a little over an hour from Daytona Beach near Titusville, the Kennedy Space Center is a fun and educational attraction for all ages. The Space Center is NASA’s launch headquarters, and its Visitor Center gives guests an up close and personal look at America’s space program. The interactive experiences (check out Lunch with an Astronaut) are truly unforgettable, but for a more low-key visit, bus tours are also offered.
Ponce Inlet is a great area for all ages. Ponce Inlet features incredible waves, tropical foliage, and lots to do. This pristine location holds the tallest lighthouse in Florida where visitors can climb up and enjoy a breathtaking view of the beach and surrounding area. Ponce Inlet also offers marine science exhibits, boardwalks, and beautiful nature trails. Located on the southern tip of Daytona Beach. Ponce Inlet Watersports offers parasailing, several tours and cruises, fishing charters, kayak, banana boat, and stand up paddleboard rentals.
Cruise down Atlantic Avenue and take in the sights. Motorcyclists come from all over the world to ride the streets of the most celebrated stretch of road — the Ormond Scenic Loop or as the locals call it, ‘The Loop’. At just over 30 miles long, ‘The Loop’ has the most diverse natural scenery remaining in northeast Florida with unobstructed views of rivers, creeks, marshes, beaches, and the pristine hardwood hammock forest that canopies the road.
World Center of Racing
Legends of the sport of racing began racing on the local beaches in the early 1900’s and continue racing towards championships today at the Daytona International Speedway. The Speedway hosts a series of annual of events and races as well as offers track tours. Located off W. International Speedway Boulevard, Daytona Beach.
Sun Splash Beach Front Park
Featuring interactive water fountains, lush walkways, shaded playgrounds, picnic tables, and more, Sun Splash Beach Front Park is a fun destination for families and friends to enjoy! Located at 611 S. Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach.
Zoom Air Adventure Park
Enjoy zip lining through the trees of Tuscawilla Park and feel the adrenaline rush. This exciting adventure is a fun way to explore the pristine tropical forest in Daytona Beach. Truly an unforgettable experience! Located at 1000 Orange Avenue, Daytona Beach.
