Clean the World
Recycling That Saves Lives

Dedicated to preventing the spread of deadly but avoidable infections, non-profit, Clean the World recycles and donates leftover bathroom amenities to impoverished countries and homeless shelters. SunStream has partnered with Clean the World to recycle soap and bottled amenities at all our properties, allowing us to provide soap to those in need and reduce our landfill impact.

Harry Chapin Food Bank
Overcoming Hunger in SWFL

To date, SunStream has contributed 1,300 pounds of donated food items to the Harry Chapin Food Bank. Harry Chapin is working to eliminate hunger in Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee Counties in Florida. At the beginning of each year, SunStream collects non-perishable foods for the Food Bank as a New Year contribution to the community.

Adopt-A-Road
Keeping Lee County Litter-Free

Adopt-A-Road provides cleaning  supplies and trash pick up services for volunteer organizations with the goal of keeping the community pristine for locals and visitors. In 2012, SunStream adopted a portion of the road along Hickory Boulevard; our employees now pick up trash and debris along that length of the Boulevard every month.

Relay for Life
Helping in the Fight Against Cancer

SunStream has participated in local Relay For Life events since 2010. We are a host location for the Fort Myers Beach event and raise contributions through our company team. Relay For Life is the signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society.

Florida Green Lodging
Preserving Florida's Natural Resources

DiamondHead Beach Resort and Spa and Bellasera Resort are both designated “Green” for meeting the criteria of the Florida Green Lodging Program. Established by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, this program recognizes and rewards environmentally conscientious lodging facilities in Florida.

Operation Open Arms
Proudly Supporting Our Troops

Through Operation Open Arms, a military outreach program, SunStream shows its gratitude and appreciation for U.S. troops by offering military members who have recently returned from deployment, an unforgettable vacation with a complimentary two-night stay and discounted rates on any additional nights of their stay.

Creating Lasting Community Change

Through a human services network of 70 agencies and over 200 programs and initiatives, United Way focuses on education, income and health—the building blocks, they say, for a good quality of life and a strong community.
