Our teams at SunStream Hotels & Resorts are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 virus updates provided by the World Health Organization, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Florida Department of Health. In response to the unique circumstances we face and our continued commitment to serve our guests with genuine hospitality, we are taking proactive measures based on the recommendations of governments, public health authorities and medical professionals as the health and well-being of our guests and team members is our highest priority.

FLEXIBLE RESERVATION POLICY

We at SunStream are temporarily adjusting our reservation policy to allow more flexibility when booking. You should have confidence and peace of mind in knowing if your travel plans change abruptly, we will provide flexibility to allow changes and modifications to your reservation. The following adjustments have been implemented for all SunStream properties:

  • - For guests making a new reservation for future arrival May 1 through December 21, 2020, we will allow the reservation to be changed or canceled at no charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled arrival date. Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.

For guests with an existing reservation for arrival between today and December 21, 2020, including reservations with pre-paid rates, advance purchase, or additional restrictions, we will allow changes, modifications or cancellation for a full refund up to 48 hours prior to arrival. Changes and cancellations must be made prior to December 21, 2020, and will be subject to availability and rate differences when rebooking.

Guests who have booked via an online travel agent or other third-party are advised to contact their booking agent directly for information on their policies.

OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

The safety and security of our Guests and Team Members has always been at the forefront of our operations.  We take great pride in our cleanliness standards and our commitment has never been as strong as it is today.  We are taking additional precautionary measures to ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards and to do our part in reducing the spread of coronavirus. These additional measures include:

- Social Distancing is a required practice for all Guests throughout our Resorts.

- We ask that anyone who has been exposed to or experienced symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 14 days to refrain from entering.

- Guests at all SunStream Resorts are encouraged to wear a face covering when social distancing is not possible.

- All Team Members are monitored for symptoms daily and are required to use PPE, including masks or face coverings and disposable gloves.  

- We have installed plexiglass barriers where appropriate to protect our Guests and Team Members

- Our housekeeping teams are spending extra time sanitizing high traffic and high-touch areas throughout the resort and within all resort suites.

- In-room sanitization supplies are available to guests upon request.

- We are sanitizing all public areas of the resort daily, including pool furniture.

- Our guest services teams are disinfecting items after each guest use and at a minimum of one per hour.

- Single use serving ware is being used across all food and beverage locations.

- We are continuing to use only commercial-grade cleaning and disinfecting products that are known to kill coronavirus and other bacteria on surfaces.

- We are committed to continuing to educate our team members and guests on safe practices and how to stay healthy.

- Encouraging any team members that might feel under the weather to stay home.
